Couple of hours ago, everything went down: all browsers and Telegram. The connection never went down, just the softwares. I had to log back onto Telegram by taking snap of bar code with my cell phone. For about twenty minutes, could not log onto any browser or app on my main computer.

Are they getting ready to shut down the media as predicted from the false flag watchers? Guess it's time to oil up the Gatling and make sure those Yam seeds are safe.

Akamai had major outage ("bug" was supposedly fixed).

How did you verify your internet was still up? Not sure what the deal is but Cox disconnects me about once a week Saturday night/Sunday morning. I have to go in run through my router setup to re-enable.

Remember, I am an interface user and not a programming aspie. The little wireless signal in the menu bar never went off, and the computer was still downloading some stuff.

Of course, because only dns was partially affected. Wifi and the "web" were still "up", but looking up many sites (ip addresses) by name failed. Once you have a download established the connection between two ip addresses won't break if dns fails.

I thought it was unusual for two browsers and telegram to all go down at once, closed or crashed as soon as they were open. Apple also sent me a message that I had to add a component piece to the instructions in the lib system section of the computer. When added, everything cleared up. I wondered if this was Apple putting something in there to conform to the pending communications shut down false flags.

There's your problem right there. Apple.

DNS servers went down due to a patch yesterday. The patch was rolled back, all better now.

Everyone should at least know how to login to their router, and view connection status there. And I would hope the password for the router is not the factory one.

I'm an aspie asshoe who can't code. How humiliating.

I agree. The only way I'd run Apple, is on VirtualBox.

Sure, I'm breaking their terms of service, but it's not really a problem for me, since I really do not like working on Apple or Microsoft. When I'm FORCED to do that, it's only through a VM.

It's a trick to setup OSX on VirtualBox, but once you do, archive the VM, and you have the ability to return to a pristine state when they inevitably fuck up your machine. Just restore, and continue work. Do not store anything you want to keep on the VM, store it on your base machine through Samba, Shared Folder, or SSHFS.

I got tired of having to deal with the fuckups of MS years ago. Linux isn't as purdy to some people, and it certainly doesn't support games, and running MS ANYTHING on it is just about impossible with Wine, but the base OS is stable, easy to maintain, and robust.
