After all the hoopla about Harry & Meghan, can someone explain why I don't give a rat's about the Royal Family?

Seriously, why am I suppose to care?

If I were born into royalty, my demand would be simple, allow me to create a new position for myself ... The Lord Emperor, and my title will be First Emperor of the Nation.

If that wish isn't granted, then I'll take the money and run.

Story is over!

No Oprah, no Piers Morgan, no John Oliver, or any other late night talk show host.

Harry is a ginger, and thus has no soul (see Southpark for definitive reference).

I believe this pretty much sums it all up nicely:

Harry also assumes he is not a royal and even refers to himself as 'the bastard' aka from an affair Diana had and not from Charles.

If your family had trillions and owned Fleet Street press, you'd probably pay to keep your soap operas in the public eye, too. Staying on top is what it's all about. Aww, poor Megan. Aww, poor Diana. Aww, poor Harry. Aww, poor Charles. Aww, poor Elizabeth. Aww, poor Philip.

I wish there were a Royal Software Editor that automatically removed all references to these fools, but it was not meant to be. Whenever my wife wanders in with some gossip bit about them, I tell her I'm really not interested in wasting another fraction of a second on them. Everybody thinks they are harmless ceremonial figureheads, but the creeps can be and are dangerous (City of London and all that). The Queen owns the courts, so they are probably about as useful as a turd to the welfare of the common man. Charles is a Globalist Fascist, on board with every creepy agenda.

Honestly, I am not sure that the Monarchy will survive the Queen.

Chuck will be like this grand uncle Edward the Abdicator or more of a milquetoast version of him.

William might be more of a decent king. But only if he gets the chance, which depends upon Chuck not fucking it up so that Parliament dissolves the Monarchy.

The only thing they got going is that Parliament won't agree to how the Head of State position should be replaced. President voted upon by the people, like in Ireland and some other places? Or by a majority of both Commons and Lords...or by a supermajority of just Commons (like how the Israeli president is elected)? Or just make the Prime Minister Head of State as well as Head of Government, like how the Botswanan president is (elected by Botswana's lower house, but serves both rolls like our POTUS does)?

Indecision of which way to go is what doomed the Republican movement in Australia from dumping the Monarchy there. Parliamentary systems do not like strong heads of state with their own power base (i.e. directly elected), as a rule. Ireland notwithstanding. That's why I bet they just beef up the PM position instead.

I recall the royals were interesting in the same way castles and history were interesting when I spent one year in England. It was a lot of fun.

Here I have zero or negative interest in the royals.

I bet the Queen would like to see Harry locked up in a mental hospital and Meghan taken to the Tower of London for execution.

They want us talking about their monarchy, to keep it relevant.

See? By making this post you served their purpose. In their service, just as they want it.

As I stated over a year ago, both the Papacy, and the British Crown are restructuring themselves as NGO's so they can meddle in foreign affairs.
I don't think the monarchy is going to survive this Queen, and Rome will not survive this Pope.
But both institutions will endure as meddling NGO's doing Soros dirty work.

Remember the 80's how Mother Theresa was basically her own geo pollical machine, separate from the Church.
That's where the Crown and Rome is headed.

Hi, I understand your first prediction. But I don't understand your second statement.

What will it mean for Rome not to survive the current pope?

By Rome do you mean the Vatican or Roman Catholicism?

Vatican will become an NGO entity that will fight harder for Socialist and Muslim causes while ignoring Christians persecution.

When this Pope is done, he will make an announcement that the Paplcy is White Supremacy and part of the Patriarchy that is wrong with the world. This ego maniac, will declare himself the last Pope. Catholicism will continue without a Pope, the Bishops will be regional Popes. With virtually no ties to the Vatican.

Fascinating. I think this is already happening a bit. "Cafeteria Catholics" and all. I see so many devout Catholics among mostly non-white communities here in the Bay Area. (did you know, about one third or so of Vietnamese are Catholics?), Mexican, Filipino, even as some of them defy the Vatican (some are gay). I am related to some of these people. I don't understand their devotion but I see it nearly every day. I think you hit it spot on.

Many students of bible prophecy believe the pope (current or future) will be the false prophet described in the book of Revelations who assists the Antichrist in establishing a one world pagan religion. They move their headquarters to the Middle East after declaring “peace.”

I think the Catholic Church would do a lot better if they went back to Latin mass and other old traditions.

It's supposed to be eternal and unchanging. When they bend with the winds, they lose credibility.

I hate to say it, but the Catholic Church has gone through many changes throughout history (the most recent one is the rescinding of the former teaching about a place called limbo where unborn babies supposedly went when they die, Limbo was closed by he Catholic Leaders in 2007 I believe) The one constant in Catholic leadership (Bishops and higher) is the desire for money and power, AKA control.

You will see more religion with even greater control in the coming days. And you will see true believers mocked and killed as they are in China even this day.

Sure, the church evolved over time, but for maximum appeal, they should look eternal and unchanging in spite of it.

Latin would help.

What would really help would be to not evolve, but have teachings consistent with Bible and resolutely uphold them from year to year and age to age.

For example, don’t let child molesters work for you, and don’t forbid marriage or expect abstinence from meat.

“A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;”

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.”
