MORE RECORD GAINS FOR GREENLAND’S ICE SHEET

"Don’t be fooled by bogus political ideologies — the cold times are returning in line with historically low solar activity. NASA has recently revealed this upcoming solar cycle (25) will be “the weakest of the past 200 years,” and they’ve correlated previous solar shutdowns to prolonged periods of global cooling here."

In fact, the most recent data-points reveal the pack is actually ACCELERATING its rate of growth:"

Westcoast winter so far has been much colder than the previous years no doubt. SF has been in the low 40s to mid 50s most of the days. Long gone memories are the winters in SF where you could bbq in your backyard with temps in the 70s or 80s.

Are you saying that the melting arctic is causing extreme cold?

The solar minimum cold is causing devastation in the Southern Hemisphere.

More solar minimum cold sadness.
"Black Christmas: Bush fires rage on as hundreds of homes destroyed"

"At least nine people have been killed this fire season as various uncontained blazes burn across several states.

In South Australia, firefighters across the Adelaide Hills will use Christmas Day to try to bring a devastating bushfire under control."

Hope firefighters have solar minimum cold weather gear.

It's cold RIGHT NOW where a lot of right wing base lives, start the propaganda machine! Pay no attention to the hotter than normal temps across the higher latitudes that displaced a mass of cold air Southward.

So, you think the melting arctic is causing cold down south? Do you deny the fact that the Greenland ice sheet is growing?

The alarmists are in denial that their global warming theory is being debunked by facts.

The melting arctic and colder temps at lower latitudes have common causes: the jet stream and polar vorticies.

The Greenland ice sheet had a bad year, not sure what "growing" you're talking about. http://nsidc.org/greenland-today/

2019 is going to be either the 2nd or 3rd warmest year globally. Still warm but no new records. Doesn't look like a reason to panic. The trend has slowed/stopped since 2016. Let's see what 2020 brings.

So on one hand we have 95 % + of scientists and on the other we mostly a few % of fosil fuel industry funded scientists. On the one hand we have empirical evidence that Co2 levels are rising to a levels not seen for hundreds of thousands of years and on the other we have Co2 levels rising because of natural phenomenon and that it will be good for the man kind because plants like it and it's a mere coincidence it corresponds with industrialization and conquerent use of fosil fuels. On the one hand we have empirical evidence that the average world temperature is rising and on the other hand we have instances where in a few areas its colder than average. On the one hand most of the world's governments feel this is huge problem, an existential threat to society as we know it. On the other hand we have a real estate developer who doesn't read tell his followers, many who are waiting for the rapture and the end of the world, that it's all a hoax.

And who has religious belief on this issue?

That is Fake News. Would be interesting where did you get this number from.

The most popular of all statistics declares that “97% of climate scientists believe anthropogenic global warming (AGW) is a significant problem.” A colleague and climate change activist at Cornell recently claimed in a debate at Cornell, “that 97% number is not even debatable.” He’s right; it’s complete garbage. Over 11,000 abstracts from papers supposedly on climate change were culled down to 79 papers, of which 77 said climate change was a problem.9 The one chard of truth: 77 of 79 is about 97%. Here is a nice critique of an assortment of polls.10

And see also:

(3) Consensus means jack squat. “We declare, with more than 11,000 scientist signatories from around the world, clearly and unequivocally that planet Earth is facing a climate emergency.”4 Really? Unequivocally? If this is really what they signed verbatim, we have located 11,000 scientifically trained nitwits. Here are just a few equivocators:

The Global Warming Petition Project rounded up over 31,000 scientists (9,000 with PhDs) equivocating that the panic over climate change is bullshit. Worldwide there are 21 million degrees in science, from bachelor degrees to PhDs, blurring what “scientist” means in these petitions.5
A letter sent by 49 former NASA scientists and astronauts, all with PhDs in tow, urged NASA to dial back their support of the global warming narrative.6
A letter authored by 500 carefully vetted scientists—big swinging dicks and ovaries of steel—urged the UN to acknowledge there is no climate crisis.7

In 2015, 30 Nobel laureates got huge media attention by signing a letter asking for immediate action on climate change while it went unnoticed that 35 other Nobel laureates sitting in the room did not sign.8

As a minimum, the 35 do not believe climate change requires an immediate action. As maximum, they do not believe the current hysteria. Furthermore, media usually omits that 35 did not sign, and talks about 30 that sign. Selective news, bordering on FAKE anyone?

Not a bird grave yard - but a bat grave yard for sure, which is just as bad. The fact that Orange Man is BAD (sarcasm) and not familiar with science (not sarcasm) does not mean that everything coming out of his mouth can be dismissed with prejudice.

It proves, for one thing, that not all scientists believe we will all die if we don't revert to the stone age.

Wait, I thought that it was settled science that Global Warming can't continue because we reached peak oil about 8 years ago. Wasn't that when all the scientists claimed that oil production would have to decrease because we were just going to run out of it. No gas for cars = much lower carbon dioxide output = solution to Global Warming.

Now don't tell us that all those gazillions of scientists who had proven that we were at peak oil were wrong. That was settled science after all.

Some people believe the temperature has soared to highs never before seen on earth and the arctic is melting at an unprecedented rate causing record cold temperatures and snowfall in the lower 48.

Remember when Gore said the arctic would be ice free by 2013, and snow was "a thing of the past?
