Question: Will Senators Running For POTUS Recuse Themselves?

Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) are all running for the Democrat nomination for their POTUS candidate, currently.

So if those idiots in the House impeach Trump and Senate Republicans drag out the Senate trial that will probably start next year, then the above turkeys must sit in judgment as jurors and thus will be taken off the campaign trail in early caucus or primary states like Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.

Worse, there's the blatant conflict of interest: How can those senators sit in judgment of an impeached president and be impartial jurors when they have a vested interest in removing the person they are seeking to replace?

So, I am betting that they will recuse themselves or Chief Justice Roberts will ask them too. Then they can go back on the trail, scream about how they WOULD OUTVOTE THE OTHER SENATORS RUNNING TO REMOVE Trump w/o actually having to take such a vote and thus such a high political risk while their base will be pissed that they 'aren't there to nail that motherfucker!' anyway.

Should be fun to watch...provided of course the Dems actually impeach Trump.

And there is nothing Rep/Cons can do.
Will Rep/Con Senators recuse themselves from being able to show Right wing partisanship support for a Rep/Con President? Conflict of interest.

Two already flipped on a "symbolic" vote of no consequence for the Dems. They know the Senate won't vote to remove. It's hysterical, but the writing is on the wall that they're not even going to have the votes for actual impeachment in the house. You cannot take your name off that vote.

I don't know the procedures of this exactly, but if there's a chance it WON'T actually bring about an impeachment vote in the house, that's the way I see it going.

No there isn't. Because they are going for Trump's job, that's why.

And which is it? Is Biden a rival of Trump in order to make the case Trump's phone call to the Ukraine was an impeachable offense because he asked for them to look into Biden or not? Because the answer to that defines whether those senators are rivals of Trump, too.

Only if some Democrats cross the aisle and not vote for impeachment, like two of them did with regards to voting against the official inquiry to begin.

People don't know this but there have been THREE such votes to impeach Trump over the last three years. They all ended in failures...not enough Dem votes. Which is why the Media didn't mention them. This time, it will be too difficult to not cover this one even if the Dems do it on Dec 24 (like when the voted for O-Care).
