It's actually not a bad idea.... for a hotel. Have stayed with a group before in a bunk room in Chicago for 4 people. Makes it cheap.

If they're paying $1,200/mo to actually live there then maybe they really didn't get rid of lead paint. Per square foot that's an insane price.

Free avocados and man bun ties included in the fee.

And every bunk has a TV because "energy!"
and besides we all know how respectful everyone is of each other's space, and there wont be any volume squabbles.

I remember when we posted a couple threads with outrage and all about Chinese workers sleeping in cagses.

Pretty smart idea IMO. Kinda like a membership to Hostelling International, but seems geared more towards people who stay put for a while, opposed to frequently moving travelers.

Beds seem pretty small less snoring with young skinny people, but ya a few bad snorrers and this would be hell. Why don't they make them like Japan so that the actual sleeping area is like a closed off pod.

When I stayed in a hostel in Hawaii with a friend a couple of years ago, we had cute young girls sleeping in my room. I didn't like it because I felt that I couldn't be at ease, I always had these girls around, like bratty sisters who didn't talk. Then, we had "The Snorerer", a big Polynesian guy. He was the nicest person, but stentorian, you could hear the rails and the walls vibrate. They passed him around so nobody had to be around him for more than two nights in a row.

When on a retreat many years ago, I was bunked with a bunch of guys who ALL snored. It was the weirdest phenomenon, because they would literally trade off in their snoring tenor, baritone, and bass, with one guy who did snorting percussion. I couldn't believe it, it was a snoring barber shop quartet. I didn't get much sleep.
