Democrats plan town hall event on Trump's 'deteriorating' mental health

House Democrats say they will provide a platform to a psychiatrist to speak to members and the public on what she calls President Trump’s deteriorating mental state, despite professional guidelines against diagnosing public figures.

I finally heard it for the first time in 3 years the other day. That it is illegal and malpractice for a Mental Health professional to officially comment on the mental health of anyone that they have not personally met with.
They can describe behaviors about certain mental illnesses and let the viewer draw their own conclusion. But they can not say a person is suffering from mental conditions.
Which is far worse, because these guys don't even describe for the Bottom News Feeders, what those mental conditions are they say Trump exhibits. They just call him them, and those Viewers just run with it. If these Doctors did describe what they are saying. Most free thinking people would say. "Wait! now you're just making shit up!"

I guess the donor class is so happy with Trump, like Reagan, they don't care if he's mentally competent or not. These presidents do their little act, they keep people focused on their little act and the entire show off camera transfers all the wealth to the top. So no problem here.

Are we back to the "Mental Health" angle?

They are running from Trump. Russia. Possible. Collusion. as fast as possible.

Pretty sure Page and Strzok are singing like birds.

We just learned another FISA "Source" was an "intel" firm run by Sid Blumenthal.

Depends on jurisdiction. The article claims it is 'against guidelines' and in D.C. that very much might be true. While in some other state, it might be malpractice as you say.

This is all a big act of desperation. Notice how it came out a day after Trump all but ended illegal immigration on our Southern Border? Their base demands impeachment but the party brass know that is political suicide. So they offer this bone instead as well. They think this is smart but don't realize that it will only feed the impeachment bandwagon even the point where they won't be able to control it any longer.

Expect more of this bullshit to come.

It's probably not a bad idea for them to start re-cycling their stale claims as much as possible so that they are completely jaded and discredited by election time.

They can usually sign a commitment order only upon direct diagnosis and the psychs professional association guidelines prohibit it.

But a medico can point to a guy in a clock tower shooting at people and shrieking SEIG! HEIL! and speculate that the guy has some issues that may be of interest to voters and policy makers should be become an elected official.

A private interview may add new data - 'shooting the libbies is god's work' or 'I've never held a gun in my life' - but it won't invalidate the direct observation of someone acting psychopathically.

Sirhan didn't get a fair trial, either.
