Why don't we have corporate employers of illegals going to jail? ICE works for trump, yet nothing. I would suggest we start with a raid on trump industries.

The bail was ridiculously low. And I think he paid cash for a reason. Bail bondsmen might just track his ass down in Ghana, stuff him in a sack, and ship him back to the USA to rot in a cell for a while. Bondsmen are gangster like that. If they let anyone skip and go free, they have to worry about the next bond twice as hard.

My passport is up to date. I can leave just as easy as any illegal. Much easier actually since most illegals don't have passports and would have to work their way back to the border to sneak across.

I would think someone who needs to flee the country to avoid going to jail has already destroyed their life completely. Just a thought. or that someone who had been here for 8 years, was working, had a place to live, and enough money to post 10k cash bail was a little more than a visitor seeing the smithsonian for a couple days. just a thought.

Back to the original question, what takes away an american's rights to flee the country? Because they don't want to destroy their life. That's a choice not a lack of rights. They can but don't want to. Feel free to post the CA statute that is relevant. Sometime in before the next millenium would be nice.
