Border crises?

Ok, I've seen the charts posted suggesting border crossing arrests were lower than the peak number 9 to 10 years ago. So, wtf is happening these last few months to result in the most Feb apprehensions in 12 years? https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/05/politics/migrants-crossing-numbers/index.html

A few interesting stats:

"In February alone, 36,174 families and 6,825 unaccompanied children were apprehended, according to agency data."

"Families and unaccompanied children make up more than 60% of apprehensions along the Southwest border. They're predominantly from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. Previously, mostly single males from Mexico crossed illegally into the US, and they were quickly returned to Mexico. Because most crossing now are family members from the Northern Triangle countries, the US does not have the infrastructure to accommodate the influx.

"There have been 70 groups totaling 100 or more individuals apprehended so far this fiscal year, compared with 13 in all of fiscal year 2018 and two in fiscal year 2017, according to CBP. "

Left wing non-governmental organizations and non-profits from the USA are working within Central America to ensure a continous flow of mestizo and indigenous to the USA.

Central America is "majority minority" with only about 20% of the population considered white or Caucasian and the remainder 80% being indigenous and mestizo. Notice that Panama, Columbia and Ecuador may be minority Caucasian, but they represent stable populations and not part of the caravan movement to the USA.

Haha, CNN so overwhelmed w TDS, they make fools of themselves. "Trump wants every American to believe that migration is only now at its peak. On Tuesday night, he gave a nationally televised speech to spread more misinformation on the subject. But the border crisis, which he discussed, is one which he has created.
I saw it evolve over the summer of 2018, as I worked on the border for Time and National Geographic. The Trump administration had started limiting the number of asylum seekers -- to the extent that families were sleeping on bridges while waiting to request asylum. Trump did the same with the child separation policy, silently testing it out before ever announcing it to American citizens. And Trump has also tried to turn the migrant caravan into a crisis, when in fact migrant caravans travel to the border every year. There is safety in numbers, and for this reason, migrants often band together to travel. "

SMFH CNN lolz

I've heard the 20 second youtube quotes of Rush or whoever saying this.

How do you know?

You should listen to more than the 20 second youtube quotes. They are trying to enter illegally the USA with children because they know they have better chances of being able to remain in the USA with a pending asylum hearing.

Here is just one example: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/who-s-behind-migrant-caravan-drew-trump-s-ire-n862566

Pueblo Sin Fronteras (Country without Borders) is just one of the American non-profits that are aiding the immigrants from Central America. The mainstream media like NBC has walks a fine line by trying to showing the great work this group does (in order to attract more donations from the likes of George Soros types, liberal churches, Ford Foundation, etc.) without exposing them too much to the independent voters who realize this.

Yeah, funny the people who built a shitty ass country want the right to enter the USA, knowing the reverse generally will not be true.

That certainly happened w this infamous mother/daughter. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/22/us/immigration-toddler-trump-media.html

Is this new though? Why are the crossings happening now? You mentioned groups recruiting and encouraging the central americans to caravan to our border. The 70 groups of 100 or more certainly suggests an impetus

Did you see this in the TDS CNN article from January? "Or they are members of the LGBTQ community who often must leave their home countries to survive, like Marfil Estrella Pérez Mendoza, whom I followed as she fled El Salvador in 2017. The violence that Pérez Mendoza had experienced, including being attacked with an ice pick, was well-documented, and she received asylum in the United States in 2018.
She is now enrolled at a community college in San Diego and learning English, and when I visited her there in August for a radio story for Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting, she said it is the first time in her life she has felt safe. "

This is the same CNN that calls white men a menace to POC and LGBTQAITGHNBYRTU worldwide.

Read the Vox and NBC News articles about the immigrants traveling with children.

Here is another article: https://www.dallasnews.com/news/immigration/2019/03/05/40000-migrant-families-detained-us-mexico-border-february-says-border-patrol

EL PASO — More than 40,000 parents and children — mostly from Guatemala — were detained at the southwest U.S. border in February, straining U.S. Customs and Border Protection's ability to care for immigrant families even as migrants are being apprehended in the highest numbers in more than a decade.

The agency said Tuesday that February was the busiest month since 2007 for overall apprehensions at the border, where 76,103 migrants were detained in the month. That's up from 58,207 in January, a more than 30 percent increase.

This year is on track to be one of the busiest in border apprehensions in more than a decade, with numbers likely to increase even more as warm weather arrives along with rising job demand, according to Customs and Border Protection.

Wall Street Journal: “More migrant families crossing into the U.S. illegally have been arrested in the first five months of the federal fiscal year than in any prior full year.” We are doing a great job at the border, but this is a National Emergency!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 7, 2019

I imagine intercepting fake Refugee Families is taking resources away from General Crossings.

But no crisis!

d based on the numbers getting caught, how many illegal immigrants are getting through the porous USA border and not getting caught ?

Ive thought the same. Similarly, wtf type of metric is border arrests? So, if we fire ICE officers, and arrests go to zero, would the MSM pretend like illegal border crossings aren't happening?

When can the same metrics be measurements of ICE effectiveness? Not a burning question exactly, i just don't trust quoted stats past the purpose for which the stat is being quoted.

70 groups of 100 or more vs 2 in 2017 is legit strange!!! Something unique is definitely going on back there

You would need to have whistleblowers come forward that have inside info about these left wing groups like Pueblo Sin Fronteras. That would explain who is funding them, and what motivates them. And that is not going to happen because the left wing activists do not turn on each other.

But I would agree the "humanitarian crisis" that the Democrats will not acknowledge stems from the poverty conditions in Latin America, more particularly in Central America like Honduras. Mexico elites and upper middle class sent us all their 'invisible' class (i.e., mestizo, and indigenous) between 1994 (when NAFTA was first implemented) and 2014. There are not many left to send from Mexico. Now its Central America pouring into the USA.

Here's Trayvon's facebook talking about "Lean"

Besides Arizona Ice Tea and Skittles, Trayvon was carrying Robitussin.

Just like when the mainstream media like NY Times was showing a much younger photo of Trayvon Martin.

Eventually, some alternate media showed photos of him posing as a gangsta from his social media accounts.

And then the mainstream media had to wrangle over George Zimmerman's ethnicity as many said he looked like he just came off the boat from Central America or Peru.
