That’s the claim by some posters, right?

The claim is that aren't enforcing the laws nearly enough, as in enforcement is scarce.

One documented instance of police doing their job doesn't make thousands of times they look the other way disappear.

Its been an ongoing investigation for over a decade. Yet the first time its being reported in a nationwide msm format.

Don't you think law enforcement investigations are often kept quiet while ongoing?

So if I understand you correctly, you are not disputing that law enforcement is scarce?

I have not seen them going after any construction companies in Houston, where any visit by ICE at any construction sites would net tens of illegals employed. May be that is somehow connected to fact that construction companies handsomely pay off politicians and that results in very, very selective enforcement...

I’m saying that you won’t hear about most instances where there’s investigatuons into employers.

Lol, over 9% of all of the workers in California are illegal:

That means there is epic, massive, deliberate non-enforcement of labor laws. If they really wanted to start prosecuting employers, it would be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Come think of it: we don't hear about most instances of any criminal investigations. Like drug busts. Sure, if it's 40 tons of H it will make it into the evening news, but 5 kilos? Probably not.
